The book ((Labor Economy, What and Its Characteristics)) was published and co-authored by ((Dr. Yusuf Ali Abdul-Asadi)), lecturing in the Department of Economics - College of Administration and Economics at Basra University, and Dr. ((Hussein Ali Hashim Al-Luaibi)) and the lecturer ((Naji Sari Al-Maliki)) .
Al-Asadi explained that the main objective of this book is how to introduce the student and the reader to the basic concepts on which the labor market is based, explaining that the labor market has great importance in the economic and social life of developed and developing countries, as this market regulates the process of supply and demand for work and how to balance The labor market is between supply and demand for work, and through these markets it is possible to know the extent of unemployment and how to treat it using the planning methods available for employment in labor markets.
