Under the patronage of the President of the University of Basra, and under the supervision of the Secretary-General of the Central Library and the Director of the International Iranian Center for Education and Studies, the Continuing Education Division at the Central Library, in cooperation with the International Iranian Center, held a workshop entitled ((Forming Official Correspondence, Administrative Orders, and the Life Cycle of Incoming and Outgoing Mail)) The workshop was held in the lecture hall. At the International Center, the workshop was delivered by Mr. Najm Abdel-Wadud Nimah Al-Jazairi, the administration official at the centre. The workshop dealt with methods of drafting official communications and administrative orders, identifying the most important elements of those communications and orders, clarifying each paragraph and giving a complete picture of the common errors and the extent of their impact on the accuracy and durability of the communications.
The workshop was attended by a number of employees working in the Central Library. This workshop is the second part that complements the previous administrative workshop, and there is a final complementary workshop that prepares participants to participate in a basic workshop specialized in methods for editing books and administrative orders in detail.
