Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the respected Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, and under the supervision of the President of the University of Basra, the respected Professor Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, the College of Nursing at the University of Basra participated in the central ceremony organized by the University of Basra on Thursday 12-7-2023 for the graduation of the 56th batch of its students, the Al-Aqsa Flood Batch, represented by its dean. Assistant Professor Dr. Majid Asghar Muhammad Al-Nawab, Dean of the College of Nursing at the University of Basra, where members of its council and an elite group of college teachers and graduate students participated in the procession.
In addition to honoring the university president for the top students, the college dean presented valuable gifts to the top three students for the morning and evening studies. The college also had a distinct role in organizing and preparing the ceremony through its professors and students who participated in the organizing committees and supervising the ceremony. More brilliance for our generous university and all the best to our graduates
The students' cavalcade reviewed the university's scientific and humanities faculties, followed by the choir's singing, then the graduates chanted the university oath and pledged to serve the nation, each according to their specialty, and expressed their happiness with the specialized academic knowledge they had acquired over the years of university study.
For his part, Assistant Professor Dr. Majid Asghar Muhammad Al-Nawab, Dean of the College, praised the efforts of the faculty members and staff for their unlimited giving, for which the students will be grateful throughout their lives, stressing that what makes the university’s reputation are the great minds and the continuous work done by everyone.
