The Department of Geography and Geographic Information Systems at the College of Arts at the University of Basrah organized a campaign of afforestation and cultivation of various plants and trees that are resistant to various climatic conditions.
The Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Haider Abdel Redha Al-Tamimi, while following the process of planting plants, indicated that the campaign comes within a series of campaigns carried out periodically by the Deanship of the College to support and implement planned projects within a platform to improve the reality of services for the College and increase green spaces and public cleanliness due to its impact on the hearts of the college’s employees, students, and visitors.
