BASRA UNIVERSITY HOLDS A SYMPOSIUM ON ETIQUETTE AND TOURISM CULTURE:
The Department of Economics at the College of Management and Economics at the University of Basra, in cooperation with the Basra Institute for Tourism and Hotel, held a seminar on (the art of etiquette and tourism culture) given by the two lecturers (Professor Mahdawi Adawah Monouni, Head of the Reception Department) and (Professor Haitham Sabri Abbas).
The symposium focused on the importance of using etiquette in the student’s interaction with his lecturers and fellow students and its importance in strengthening the bonds of friendship and peace between them, since this has a direct impact on spreading the appropriate atmosphere in education, work and other aspects of life.
Mahdaoui pointed to another aspect in which he focused on the art of presentation and reception, addressing the required priorities that take into consideration the level of age and the position in the art of presentation.
The students' interaction was distinguished through their raising of some important questions that dealt with many aspects related to the topic.
