Under the patronage of the Honorable President of the University of Basra, Professor Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Nursing, Assistant Professor Dr. Majid Asghar Muhammad Al-Nawab, the college held its annual evaluation conference for the academic year 2022-2023 under the slogan “Evaluation is a means of developing the scientific path” on Tuesday, December 12, 2023. In the presence of Professor Dr. Ali Hussein Rashk, Assistant to the University President for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Majed Abdel Hamid, Dean of the College of Arts, Prof. Dr. Abdel Hussein Tawfiq Shibli, Dean of the College of Administration and Economics, Professor Dr. Aqeel Fadel Al-Dahan, Dean of the College of Law, Prof. Dr. Ali Al-Kanani, Dean of the College of Fine Arts, and Prof. Dr. Shukri Shaker. Faleh, Director of the Student Affairs and Registration Department.
Gentlemen, administrative and scientific assistants, heads of scientific branches, officials of divisions and units, teaching and administrative staff, and a number of students in the college.
The conference activities began with the reading of a verse from the Holy Quran and the national anthem, followed by Assistant Professor Dr. Majid Asghar Muhammad Al-Nawab, Dean of the College of Nursing, reviewing what the college has achieved and is striving to achieve in terms of achievements at the scientific level, infrastructure, and the obstacles that prevented the achievement of some of them in the past academic year. Some matters were discussed and proposals were received. Which contribute to the progress of the college and how to achieve it during the new academic year 2023-2024 to advance the college to the highest scientific and educational levels. The conference concluded by honoring some of the distinguished teaching staff, retired administrators, and distinguished technicians in the College of Nursing for their work and dedication.
