The College of Dentistry at the University of Basra, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit, organized a lecture entitled The Concept of Scientific Research and Its Methods.
In his lecture, Dr. Saeed Kazem Ahmed pointed out the definition of science and defining the concept of scientific research and its definition. Then he touched on the role of the researcher in choosing the research topic, determining the scientific hypothesis, and the method of writing the research, starting with choosing the topic and stating its importance, defining the research problem and hypothesis, choosing the appropriate method for the research topic, and ending with the conclusions that the researcher reaches. .
Dr. Saeed Kazim also discussed the concept of the scientific method and its role in completing research, and stressed the need to distinguish between the terms: method, approach, and research methodologies.
