Under the patronage of the president of Basra University, Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, and under the supervision of the dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, assistant professor Dr. Ali Abdullah al-Kanani.
The Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Basra-Women Empowerment unit in cooperation with the Department of Plastic Arts organized a workshop entitled The mechanism of aesthetic displacement of women and men in the formation of ceramic works.
The workshop was presented by the director of the Women Empowerment unit at the college, Khadija Shoukry Faisal.M.Dr. Roula Abdellah Alwan and M.D. Saif Nasr al-Mousawi and M. Ahmed Abdel is looking forward to addressing the issue of aesthetic displacement, which may be influenced by multiple factors, including social, artistic and historical factors.
The workshop aims to demonstrate and recognize that aesthetic displacement can be diverse and comprehensive and that beauty is not limited to specific criteria.
