This is a methodological book that helps university students in the environmental chemistry course. It was written to be a scientific resource and a knowledge aid for students in the field of environmental science in various scientific disciplines. In light of the growing interest in pressing environmental issues in our world today, especially the issue of environmental pollution, it has become necessary for students studying in this field to understand that our environmental problems have a chemistry of their own, and all its basics and details must be understood, in order to ultimately facilitate the proposal of sound solutions and treatments based on correct scientific understanding.
Therefore, in order to keep pace with the scientific movement that is moving rapidly to develop school curricula and update them to meet the needs of the times, this book came to fill a clear deficiency in the field of environmental chemistry, and interest in the chemistry of pollution has also been added to it due to the importance of the topic and the latter’s close connection to the topic of the environment on the one hand and to chemistry on the other hand. Noting that this book does not focus primarily on pollution as much as it focuses on the chemical aspect of the environment and pollution alike.
