The College of Administration and Economics/Qurna at the University of Basra organized the third annual calendar conference for the academic year 2022-2023 under the slogan (Calendar is a means for advancement and reconstruction)
The Deanship of the College of Administration and Economics / Qurna organized its third evaluation conference for the academic year 2022/2023. The opening of the conference began with a fragrant recitation of the Holy Qur’an and then hearing the Iraqi national anthem, preceded by the reading of Surat Al-Fatihah for the souls of the martyrs of Iraq. The conference included a review of the college's most important scientific and administrative achievements.
The Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Adnan Farhan Al-Jourani, touched on the college’s most important goals and future challenges, foremost of which is the quest to open postgraduate studies in the field of project management, finance, and investment in the next academic year, as well as the quest to increase the supportive teaching and administrative staff in the college.
The Scientific Assistant, Professor Dr. Youssef Odeh Ghanem, also addressed the scientific topic, touching on the development that occurred in the previous academic year compared to the years that preceded it in terms of the number of staff, activities and scientific research registered in the name of the college and its teaching staff.
After that, the Administrative Assistant, Assistant Professor Dr. Ismail Jumaa Abbas, addressed the administrative topic, touching on the most important administrative achievements and maintenance work that had been completed in the previous academic year with the aim of sustaining the college building and its classrooms.
The conference ended by honoring Assistant Professor Dr. Wissam Jumaa Lafta/former Dean and Professor Dr. Qasim Matar Abd/former Administrative Assistant for their great efforts in developing and elevating the college and its various activities during the previous academic year.
