Board thesis at the College of Medicine at Basra University discussed the evaluation of vitamin D and vitamin B12 levels after laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy. The research presented by student Rola Mortada Abdel Hafez aims to examine the levels of vitamin D and vitamin B12 concentrations before the gastric sleeve operation and during the first year after the operation. B12 to a small degree before and after the operation and the research recommended the necessity of giving nutritional supplements containing vitamin D before and after the operation.
