Assistant lecturer Hassan Saad Shallak, teaching at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Basra, ran a scientific course on physical injuries and methods of treating them at the Scientific Care Forum of the Basra Youth and Sports Directorate.
The course lasted for three days, in coordination between the Scientific Care Forum and the Sports Medicine Division, and in cooperation with the Al-Asmai Forum as part of its initiative for the current month of January in the Al-Asmai Forum Hall.
The Director of the Scientific Care Forum, Dr. Sanaa Al-Jabri, also honored Assistant Lecturer Hassan Saad for his efforts in this course and for the scientific information he provided during the course.
The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Basra possesses advanced scientific capabilities that have effectively contributed to providing governmental and non-governmental institutions with modern information and various sports academic specializations.
For his part, the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Haider Awfi Ahmed, indicated, “Our college opens its doors to all working institutions, especially scientific ones, and we have previously lacked the cooperation of our professors in providing courses and workshops and disseminating correct and reliable information from approved sources in order to advance the scientific reality.”
