The Department of Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance at the College of Education for Human Sciences - University of Basra organized a deliberative counseling meeting between psychological counseling professors and the department’s students residing in the internal departments of the first stage of morning study.
The meeting aims to communicate with internal department students to identify the difficulties and obstacles they encounter for the purpose of overcoming them and working to solve them.
The meeting, which was moderated by Dr. Abdel Mohsen Abdel Hussein Khudair, Head of the Psychological Counseling Department, Dr. Abdel Karim Zayer Rassan, Dr. Tahani Anwar Ismail, and Dr. Hana Sadiq Karim, Director of the Center for Educational Guidance and Psychological Care, included a statement of the importance of the counseling role in overcoming the difficulties faced by students and introducing them to the most important data for living. In the internal sections, the pros and cons of housing in the internal section were examined, and the lecturers touched on the variables in the transitional stage from school life to university life.
During the meeting, the most important problems that are common among students in the internal departments were listened to, monitored, their dimensions were determined, their causes were known, and appropriate solutions were developed.
