A joint book was issued by two teachers at the College of Education, Qurna University of Basra, Department of Arabic Language, namely Professor Dr. Mortada Abdel Nabi Ali and assistant teacher Iman Abdel Jassim, entitled “Edges of Text: An Aesthetic Vision... The third chapter was entitled (A semiotic approach to the novel “The Prophet” by Gibran Khalil Gibran)
These researches are attempts to study, read, and analyze creative texts that were created due to the academic situation between us, and we sought to produce them with these methods of criticism, analysis, and adopting an aesthetic vision to understand these texts, benefiting from linguistic and critical approaches in drawing their general and specific features and implications.
