The Cultural Center at the University of Basra organized a celebration on the occasion of the birth of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) at the hall of the Center for Basra and Arabian Gulf Studies and in the presence of researchers and academics

The ceremony, which was opened with the national anthem, then followed by the reading of Surat Al-Fatiha on the soul of the Martyrs, and a speech to the moderator on the occasion of the birth of Imam Ali bin Abi Talib (peace be upon him), followed by a cultural dialogue session and the presentation of four research papers, the first was social justice in the thought of Imam Ali, Dr. Mohsen Mukhalk, the policy of Imam Ali (peace be upon him), the second in building the state of man, presented by Sayyed Hassan Abbas, and the third, the dignity of the birth of Imam Ali bin Talib in the Kaaba, and represented by Dr. Hala Fathi, the fourth paper, was a poetic reading in the birth of Imam, Dr. Wajdan Sadiq

The Director of the Cultural Center and the Center for Basra and the Gulf Studies, Dr. Iyad Mohammed Al-Muhammadawi, mentioned the holding of these events that express our love, loyalty and belonging to the pious Imam Ali (peace be upon him), and we try to present the intellectual side of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) through intellectual and cultural forums
