At a high and increasing pace and under the direct guidance of Professor Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kazem, President of the University of Basra, and under the supervision of the Department of Construction and Projects, the Resident Engineer Department at the University of Basra, work continues on completing the consulting clinics building for the College of Dentistry.
The Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Raed Taha Yassin, and the accompanying delegation of professors stated during his visit to the work site that work is continuing at a high pace to complete the consulting clinics building for the College of Dentistry, adding that the building is built on an area of more than 1,500 square meters and consists of Three floors, occupying the consulting clinics building, with a total area of 4,500 square meters.
The administrative assistant explained that this building was established to cover the increasing number of students and at the same time serve the citizen, as it includes 4 specialized clinics for children, surgery, orthodontics, and diagnosis, with 150 chairs, in addition to specialized laboratories for phantom, radiology, industry, study halls, elevators, and equipment in accordance with the latest international standards.
The director of the implementing company concluded that the company's engineering cadres are working day and night to complete this building to be one of the scientific landmarks at the University of Basra.
