Manager of the administration Mr. Samir Mohammed commissioned by secretary general of the central library Dr . Thukra Mohammed has organized an extensive meeting with committees to make a competition for selecting the best three sub-libraries in Basra university conforming to the standards adopted by the central library .
It is an unique experience at the level of university libraries in our beloved Iraq , where valuable prizes will be distributed to the winners by the general secretariat of Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine within a ceremony that will be held soon to honour the winning sub-libraries .
The aim from this competition to encourage sub-libraries in Basra university on hard work to develop the reality of university libraries and provide the best service to students and researchers
