Under the patronage of the president of Basra University, Prof. Dr. Mohannad Jawad Kazim, and under the supervision of the dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, assistant professor Dr. Ali Abdullah al-Kanani.
The Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Basra –women's affairs unit in cooperation with the Department of Plastic Arts organized a seminar entitled Electronic Devices and their impact on society.
The seminar was presented by the director of the Women Empowerment unit at the college, Khadija Shoukry Faisal, and M.Dr. Sawsan Mohammed Hamza to introduce electronic devices and what impact they have on society in terms of increasing the productivity of the person using them and what contributed to saving time and enhancing one's productivity as well as the downsides of using them.
The seminar aims to address the positive factors that encourage cognitive learning and skills development, as well as its negative factors represented by the lack of assimilation among students when learning through electronic means.
