The continuing education division, in cooperation with the Department of plastic arts at the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Basra, held an attendance workshop entitled ( material and image).
The workshop presented by M.Dr. Talal Abdul Imam Mohammed the subject of the material and the image, which has an intellectual aspect reflecting the artist's creativity from a mental side and a practical creative side, an introduction to the students of the initial study, the third stage (sculpture and ceramics sub-sections) and how the student benefits from choosing a topic with intuitive and sensory contents in the formation of the working material.
The workshop aims to show the beauty of the artistic work, whether from the side of the idea or the final form, in order to increase the aesthetic and artistic awareness of both the student and the community and raise the artistic taste of the ideas presented in Western art and the latest methods followed by the artist.
