University of Basra Participates in the Cultural Week Held at Khuzestan University

Within the framework of joint cooperation between universities, the Palm Research Center, represented by Dr. Khiyoon Ali Mohsen and Dr. Azhar Mahdi Abdul Sahib, participated in the activities of the joint scientific cultural week between the University of Basra and Khuzestan University for Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources.

Their participation included delivering scientific lectures on the propagation of date palms by female flower bud culture outside the living body and the use of the palm tree in landscaping and environmental improvement.

The joint cultural week aimed to exchange research and scientific experiences and exchange different cultures between the two countries.
