The Department of Arabic Language at the College of Education for Human Sciences - University of Basra organized a panel discussion on the manifestations of alienation in Iraqi poetry
The seminar aimed to learn about the term alienation, its fields, and opinions about its meaning, causes, and psychological, social, and cultural effects on the individual.
The seminar presented by doctoral student Muhammad Hakim Masir showed that the breadth of the term alienation made it difficult to give a specific concept to it due to the overlap in its social, political and psychological patterns, and that it represents a sharp turning point in the path of contemporary Iraqi poetry and an effective tool in forming a clear picture of the reality of society by presenting texts. lattice.
I also showed that alienation leads to its owner becoming something devoid of the limits of will and losing the feeling of humanity. It robs the individual of his will and strips him of moral and emotional qualities
