The instructor participated in the Department of Translation at the College of Arts at the University of Basrah, Dr. Jassim Khalifa Sultan in the arbitration of the English Language Olympiad for the year 2024.
The competition included theatrical performances and poetic poems in the English language presented by students of some middle and high schools, such as Al-Knouz and Al-Mutamayez, to enhance the linguistic and cultural level of the students.
The winners were determined based on a set of criteria, the most important of which was the skill of speaking the English language and the societal benefit of the participants.
