The Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Basra, Professor Dr. Haider Awfi Ahmed, responded to the invitation submitted by the Sub-Federation of Football to attend the final of the Youth and Junior League for Basra Governorate club teams.
A number of sports and governmental figures also participated in attendance, in addition to the President of the Southern Technical University, the President of the Bahri Club, and former MP Amer Al-Khazali, where the Al-Zubair Sports Club was crowned champion.
The Football Sub-Federation also honored the Dean of the College with the Shield of Creativity and Brilliance for his valuable role and effective participation in developing visual sports.
