A lecturer in the College of Education for Human Sciences at the University of Basra, Professor Dr. Hussein Joban Uraibi, was chosen as the head of the committee to discuss the master’s thesis in the College of Education for Girls at the University of Kufa, titled (Geomorphology of the Wadi Al-Safiya Basin in Anbar Governorate and its investments).
The thesis aimed to know the geomorphological factors affecting the creation of the basin and its geomorphic development, and the geomorphic processes responsible for the formation and development of geomorphological forms and classifying them according to the forces affecting them.
The thesis included the morphometry of the Wadi Al-Safia Basin, identifying the most effective morphometric characteristics in the development of the basin and the correlation between them, and studying the most important possible geomorphological applications in the basin and the degree of their contribution to the development of the region, its population and its natural resources, as it is one of the most promising areas in the wheel of sustainable development
