The Basra Businesswomen's Center, in cooperation with the International Labor Organization, held a celebration on the occasion of International Women's Day under the slogan "Investing in Women Accelerates Progress."
Dr. Halima Jabbar Abdul Razzaq, a lecturer at the Palm Research Center, was honored during the ceremony in appreciation of her outstanding work in serving the community.
