Under the patronage of the President of the University of Basra, Professor Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kazem, and with the follow-up of Assistant Professor Dr. Majid Asghar Muhammad Al-Nawab, Dean of the College of Nursing at the University of Basra, and coinciding with the 60th anniversary of the founding of the University of Basra, the exhibition of scientific products was opened in the Central Library in the Bab Al-Zubair Colleges Complex today, Wednesday, 4/4/2024. 3 As a large number of scientific, academic, political and social figures in Basra attended the opening, the scientific and humanities colleges, in addition to the research centers, participated in this exhibition. The College of Nursing had an active participation in this exhibition with a pavilion in which the college’s modern scientific products were displayed. The assistant lecturer, Zahraa Mahmoud Hussein, the head of the College of Nursing’s pavilion at the exhibition, explained that it included some scientific theses from master’s and doctoral dissertations by college professors and approximately 50 research papers published in international journals within Scopus and some Arab and international journals. Professor Dr. Ali Rashk, Assistant to the University President for Scientific Affairs, during his tour of the faculties’ pavilions, praised the talents and creativity of our dear university. In turn, he extended his thanks and gratitude to the members of our university and to those in charge of the exhibition, indicating that the university’s goal of participating in the exhibition is to motivate and encourage the university’s members to be scientifically creative in the fields of invention and innovation. Which would establish for our researchers the culture of science and work to achieve development, prosperity and permanent progress in the scientific and research process in our university and our dear Iraq.
