His doctoral thesis at the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Basra examined the effectiveness of metaphors of the Supra-reality of Adrian arelio's ceramic sculptures in the light of the philosophy of Paul Ricoeur.
The thesis presented by the researcher Nasrin Samir Ghadir aims to reveal the concept of the supernatural and the effectiveness of its metaphors in Adrian Trelew's sculptural ceramics and the extent of its effectiveness.
The thesis included the use of metaphor as a way to transcend the prevailing reality and evoke intense worlds and concepts, so that the expression becomes deeper and more complex.
The thesis concluded that the effectiveness of metaphor appears as a result of the integration of what is real and what is imaginary, as the overlap between material and imaginary reality arises in contemporary ceramic works.
