
The Dentistry College at Basra University hosted a team from the Independent High Electoral Commission in Basra to update voter registry data. The Commission conducted the process of updating the data for faculty members, employees, and students of the college.
The head of the Basic Sciences Branch at Bab Al-Zubair Complex, Assistant Professor Dr. Abdul Rahman Faleh Hassan, indicated that the purpose of this initiative is to facilitate the process of updating the voter register and receiving the new electronic electoral card in cooperation with the Independent High Electoral Commission.
While the Commission staff expressed their thanks and gratitude for the reception and facilities provided by the college by activating the registration process and providing a place and internet service to update the biometric data, they stressed that there is a great determination to register the remaining voters who do not have a long-term card, calling for reviewing the centers designated for updating the data.
