The specimens used in this study are made of 316 stainless steel bar, which was first annealed. The characteristics of the raw material were obtained before and examined through tensile testing to evaluate the mechanical properties of the metal. After cold forming, the hardness was tested, corrosion tested using the lost weight method, as well as All microstructure tests were performed. By performing these tests, the metal shows excellent mechanical properties such as yield stress, tensile stress, and hardness and also the raw metal showed higher corrosion resistance in seawater than crude oil, while in cold working and in-work thermal treatments, the samples show higher corrosion in treated samples.
