Within the framework of exchanging experiences and cooperation, a scientific and cultural cooperation agreement was signed between Al-Zahraa College of Medicine - University of Basra and the Iraqi Society for Medical Research and Studies in order to enhance and strengthen scientific and cultural relations and cooperation in achieving common goals in developing and disseminating scientific research, medical and health education and training, for a period of five years. The two parties agreed to Various items, including the exchange of experiences, information and visits in the medical and health fields, participation and cooperation in seminars, conferences, workshops and all other scientific and training activities, as well as the exchange of research, books, bulletins, magazines and scientific periodicals, and the establishment of joint projects and events in the fields of research, scientific, development, training and culture, and mutual media support for activities. The two parties also agreed on several administrative and technical aspects necessary to implement the joint work stipulated by forming committees to manage the agreement between the two parties.
