The University of Basra organizes a cultural workshop on the importance of tourism and antiquities in Basra Governorate
The Cultural Center at the University of Basra, in cooperation with the Tourism and Antiquities Authority, organized a cultural workshop entitled The importance of tourism and antiquities in the province of Basra and its archaeological sites.
The workshop, in which Professor Hussein Al-Rubaie lectured, aims to introduce archaeological and tourist sites in the province of Basra, in order to revive the tourism of antiquities and activate the cultural movement in the province.
The workshop dealt with the role of archaeological and historical tourism and how to promote the tourism and cultural reality, protect and maintain monuments, restore infrastructure in those areas, and provide services to tourists.
