The Dean of Dentistry College at Basra University, Professor Assistant Dr. Fateh Abdul-Sahib Al-Khaqani, met in the presence of the Dean Scientific Assistant, M. Dr. Ali Taha Yassin, the fifth stage students of the current academic year, where Al-Khaqani welcomed the attending students, wishing them good luck and success during their academic journey. During the meeting, the Dean also discussed the importance of adhering to the disciplinary regulations and laws for students, and the latest instructions and directives issued by the Ministry and the Committee of Dentistry Colleges Deans in Iraq, regarding to the evaluation exams for students of Dentistry Colleges.
During the meeting, students were directed to the necessity of adhering to the uniform and that the student should carry his ID inside the examination hall and show it when he is asked to do so, in addition to not allowing lectures, study materials, smart watches, mobile phones and other electronic devices into the examination hall. The student must write his full name as shown on the official lists and in Arabic, and not allow any of the students to leave the examination hall until half of the specified examination time has passed. He also stressed the need for students to come to the examination hall well before the examination time to avoid problems of congestion on the roads.
The meeting concluded by presenting some advice and the most important behaviors that students should follow when taking the final exams, which will reflect positively on the students’ level.
