Under the patronage of the President of the University of Basra, Professor Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kazem, the College of Engineering at the University of Basra, in cooperation with the United Nations Program, organized a symposium on volunteer work for the United Nations Program
The symposium, which began with a speech by the Assistant Dean of the College of Engineering for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Sarmad Abdullah Abbas, included an introduction to the organization, as well as a group of members of the organization present. The mechanism for applying for volunteer work with the United Nations was introduced through the application link, as well as the mechanism for choosing jobs and the type of work, either in attendance or Through the Internet and the mechanism of disbursing wages.
The aim of holding the symposium is to introduce the experience of volunteer work with the United Nations, invest in youth energies, and create job opportunities for graduates.
