At the invitation of the President of the University of Basra, Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, Prof. Dr. Abdul-Amir Abdullah Al-Mousawi, Dean of the College at Basra University, met with the Iranian cultural attaché and discussed with him the frameworks for scientific cooperation between the College of Nursing and its counterparts in Iranian universities. Towards the approval of a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in all scientific fields in a way that serves the interest of education between the two parties, the Iranian cultural attaché indicated that the Iranian side is ready for cultural cooperation between universities between the two countries, especially since we have good relations with his Iranian counterpart. Al-Mousawi welcomed the Iranian cultural attaché’s proposal and stressed the need for scientific and cultural cooperation between the universities of the two countries and expressed his readiness to receive a delegation representing Basra University to discuss these matters.
