The Continuing Education Division at the Central Library, in cooperation with the Persian Language Studies and Teaching Center, held an administrative workshop entitled (Analyzing texts and extracting them from speech to prepare an official administrative answer). The workshop was delivered by Mr. Najm Abdel-Wadud Nimah Al-Jazairi, the administrative official at the center, and was attended by a number of Basra University employees. It was held in the center's lecture hall.
The workshop aims to introduce administrative employees to the most important steps that must be followed in analyzing letters and official books, which require preparing administrative answers free of errors, incompleteness and verbosity, and editing the answers in a professional and understandable manner that covers all aspects.
Professor Maitham Muhammad Saadoun, Director of the Center, stated that these workshops are part of the Center’s ongoing activities in developing the skills of Basra University cadres, in addition to other cultural courses and activities that the Center holds, such as Persian language courses and others.
