At the invitation of the university for scientific cooperation that includes research projects, scientific studies, and comprehensive surveys of water bodies and their dams in the region to investigate sedimentary and hydrological problems and the extent of the impact of recent seismic activities. This cooperation is considered part of the Marine Geology Department’s plan projects (comprehensive geological surveys - marine geophysics and bathymetry - sedimentology - hydrology for Dukan Lake and Dam). The program included a field visit to Lake Dukan and the dam built on it, a visit to the College of Engineering, a meeting with the Dean of the College, in addition to an inspection of the College’s laboratories.
