The College of Law at the University of Basra organized a lecture on the economics of official promises and exaggeration in the price of the law's scope. Dr. Ali Abdul Abbas Naeem, a lecturer at the College of Law, explained the concept of government promises and distinguished them from government propaganda. He also discussed the extent to which the government fulfills its responsibility towards its promises to individuals, the nature of this responsibility, as well as the impact of not fulfilling these promises on the trust index in the government.
