The thesis, presented by the student Hussam al-Din Salman Rajab, aims to clarify that the marriage contract is one of the contracts that can be annulled, despite the Iraqi Personal Status Law not addressing it except in cases where the husband does not fulfill the conditions stipulated in the contract. However, this law provides a solution for any situation not explicitly mentioned within it by referring to the principles of Islamic Sharia, which are most compatible with this law, as stated in Article (1/2). This article covers the cases and provisions of the annulment of the marriage contract.
