Within the framework of the scientific plan projects of the Department of Sediment and Marine Bottoms at the Marine Sciences Center, and the projects of graduate students in the College of Marine Sciences, a joint scientific team from the Center and the College undertook a scientific trip to the mouth and banks of the Shatt al-Arab, Ras al-Bisha, and some Khor Abdullah sites.
This trip aims to collect scientific data on the characteristics of sediments and water in this region, by conducting field measurements and collecting samples from different locations.
