Unit of International corner in General secretariat of the central Library in a cooperation with faculty of agriculture and awareness lecture about desertification and its impact on the environment. This lecture is presented by the lecturer Jumaa Abdul zahraa Nafe in the Fucalty of agriculture explanation and review about desertification in Iraq and the causes which lead to this phenomenon like lack of rain and amount of water which reach to Iraq from neighbouring countries , which lead to high levels of salinity in Iraq and the levelling of agriculture lands and convert it into residential, lack afforestation, high temperatures and more. The aim from this lecture to aware the attendance about danger of desertification , also how to deal with it and reduce it, because it has a negative impact on the environment.
