The College of Arts issues a book entitled Translational Thinking

Dr. Abd Al-Salam Abdul-Majeed Al-Aqili, the teaching professor in the Department of Translation at the College of Arts, published a book entitled Translational Thinking.

The book has organized three research approaches, the first approach is literal translation by preserving the same linguistic, semantic and stylistic levels of the source text in the target text. The second approach is the interpretive approach that tries to go to the depths of the original text to reveal the internal meaning of the text, while the third approach, which is creative translation, focuses on the features Linguistic and stylistic structure used.

The book aims to deepen the translators' view of translational thinking, thus opening the door to the multiplicity of meanings of the text and its interpretation.
