The General Secretariat of the Central Library at the University of Basra organized a festival on the occasion of Eid al-Ghadeer al-Aghar. The festival included poetry poems, a religious lecture, cultural competitions, and prayers and supplications for God to protect Iraq and its people with all its sects and components, and to renew allegiance and loyalty to the successor of the Prophet of Mercy, Imam Ali Ibn Abi Talib (peace be upon him).
