A master's thesis at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Basra examined the representations of puns in the contemporary Iraqi formation.
The message presented by the researcher Qusai Mohammed Salman aims to identify the pun in the contemporary Iraqi formation.
The letter included the topic of puns in philosophical and Critical Studies and the impact of these representations on them and the methods adopted by contemporary Iraqi plastic artists in their works, providing them with artistic visions to achieve aesthetic goals through plastic concepts in the contemporary Iraqi formation movement.
The thesis concluded that the concepts of puns reflect a homogeneous image between sculptural works and ceramic works, as well as drawings that illustrate multiple meanings of puns.
