On the anniversary of the Hijra and Muharram: Both events reflect the spirit of sacrifice for the sake of truth and justice, standing up to injustice, and sacrificing for the sake of principles.
In the name of God, the most gracious, the most merciful
Praise be to God, Lord of the worlds, and prayers and peace be upon the Messenger, a mercy to the worlds, the best of creation, Muhammad, may God bless him and his family and grant them peace.
On the occasion of the new Hijri year, this year in which the epics of sacrifice and courage were evident in the history of Islam through two great migrations: the migration of the greatest Messenger Muhammad, may God bless him and his family and grant them peace, from Mecca to Medina, and the migration of Imam Hussein Ibn Ali, peace be upon them, from Medina to Karbala, both. Both migrations carry within them meanings of faith and steadfastness in principles.
The migration of the Messenger, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, established an Islamic state based on justice, while the migration of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, was a heroic stance against injustice, injustice and immorality. Both events reflect the spirit of sacrifice for the sake of truth and justice, stressing that standing in the face of injustice and sacrifice for the sake of principles is the essence of the Islamic message.
Islam awaits us to act, and responsibility calls on us to present our message to the world, starting from our reality to the general human reality. Let us work sincerely and consciously in order for Islam to be a leading intellectual and social force in life, and let us exercise our responsibility before the world - Muslims - who live their message in order for man to live in peace with his Creator, with himself, and with his society. Only there can we stand against the infidel movements forcefully and combat them consciously, so that the position remains for Islam alone, without there being room for deviation. Only there can we say that we are loyal to our religion and aware of our goals, and that we are on the path to making a new history, and only there will we be faithful soldiers of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him. And sincere supporters of his revolution, the world today is in great need of enlightenment with the thought of Imam Hussein, as today’s ignorance is more severe, violent, and broader than the first ignorance.
Purification in the soul is by purifying the minds from corrupt beliefs, purification in the thought is by purifying the brains from bad thoughts, purification in behavior is by expelling the vices of morals from bad practices, and purification of the tongue, hand and other limbs by adhering to what is appropriate and avoiding what is not appropriate. Let us begin by purifying ourselves and be honest when we repeat with his memory the well-known phrase, “If only we had We were with you and won a great victory.
Peace, mercy and blessings of God
