A master’s thesis by the student Ataa and Wujoud Ali was discussed in the College of Engineering, University of Basra, Department of Chemical Engineering, entitled Studying the Optimal Preparation Factors for Supported Activated Carbon and Studying Their Ability to Adsorption of Oil from the Emulsion. It includes the use of Takeuchi’s experimental design to study the factors affecting the optimal preparation process for activated carbon via the modified wave-assisted deposition method. Ultrasonic levels The factors covered in the study were the pH of the deposition 8-10, the ultrasound power 195-455 watts, and the weight loading percentage of metal salts 66.7-33.4. The results showed that obtaining the ideal preparation conditions using pH 10 and ultrasonic power fe3o4/mgo/Ac was ideal for preparing 325 W and a loading rate of 50% by weight, which leads to an adsorption capacity of 55 mg.
