The College of Education for Human Sciences at the University of Basra held a competitive examination for postgraduate students for the academic year 2024-2025, with the participation of more than 250 male and female students in various humanities specializations.
The Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Asaad Abbas Hindi, said that the exams took place completely smoothly in light of the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the University Presidency, and adherence to exam controls and instructions, with the participation of more than 250 male and female students who competed for the seats allocated according to the scientific plan developed by the College for Postgraduate Studies. In its general and private branches, and for master’s and doctoral studies in the departments of (Arabic language, English language, psychological sciences, educational guidance, history, geography, and Qur’anic sciences).
For his part, the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Khaled Abdel Kazem Adhari, appreciated the efforts of the examination committees, observers, and supporting bodies and their role in the success of the examinations by providing all necessary supplies, creating the appropriate atmosphere for students, including air conditioning devices and halls, and ensuring the continuity of electrical power, and means of comfort and reassurance.
