That and whoever venerates the rituals of God, they are part of the piety of hearts.”
Reviving the rituals of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, in various parts of the earth is not a strange matter, because he rose to reform the reality of the nation as a whole and sought to change and correct the deviation that occurred as a result of the policies of the Umayyads. Under the direct supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Majid Asghar Muhammad Al-Nawab, Dean of the College of Nursing at the University of BasraOn the occasion of the holy month of Muharram and in keeping with the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, our college organized the erection of a dining pavilion at the College of Nursing at the University of Basra.
The representatives stated that this initiative comes as a continuation of the approach followed by the college in serving the community and as a continuation of the Husseini rituals, especially during the days of Muharram Al-Haram.This activity comes within the efforts of the Deanship of the College of Nursing to consolidate the love of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) in the hearts of its members, develop their spirit of loyalty, and provide them with the opportunity to participate in reviving the Husseini cause during official working hours. A number of faculty members, employees and students of the college participated in this occasion.
