A Ph. D thesis at the faculty of College of Sciences at the University of Basrah (Molecular insights of different fungal flavonoids against methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus and multidrug resistant gram negative bacteria). Aim of the researcher's thesis (Ahmed Mshari Thari) to evaluated effect of different fungal flavonoids against multidrug resistant bacteria. The thesis included extract, purification of flavonoids from Saccharomyces cerevisiae and Sporobolomyces roseus and evaluation effect against a number of resistant bacteria, also the growth kinetics, as well as its effect on the genetic expression of a number of resistance genes. The study recommended to encouraging innovation in antibiotic development and exploring alternative treatments. Also monitoring and tracking resistance patterns to inform public health strategies.
