The Dean of the College of Education for Human Sciences met with the teaching staff of the Geography Department to discuss the development of scientific research, supervision, scientific discussions, and the foundations and standards affirmed by the Ministry of Education and Scientific Research.
The Dean of the College stressed the necessity of not restricting geography specialists to certain specializations, as human geography has branches that are linked to each other, and this applies to physical geography, and she stressed the importance of studying specialized subjects in the preparatory year as well as the thesis.
In terms of supervising postgraduate students, Dr. Nidaa indicated taking into account the student’s desire and fairness in supervision and discussions, as justice is the basis from which we start, as it is practical situations from which students learn and in these situations we are a model for them.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the department teachers expressed their thanks and gratitude to the Dean of the College for the role these meetings play in developing performance and opening channels of communication between committee members to develop curricula and vocabulary in a way that serves the educational process
