Our college organized a workshop on the obstetric care guide in cooperation with the Basra Health Department, in which Assistant Professor Dr. Sundus Baqir Dawood, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, and Dr. Salma Abbas Ali from the Basra Health Department lectured.The workshop dealt with a set of steps that can be applied in delivery rooms to obtain a safe birth for both the mother and the child, and the target group was third-year students and morning and evening studies For her part, Assistant Professor Dr. Sundus Baqir Dawood, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, confirmed that the workshop sessions were excellent and distinguished, noting that she was among the people who aspire to address this topic in a scientific and practical manner, especially since obstetric care is a very important topic due to its connection to students and the family, which is the basic foundation of society.Dr. Salma Abbas Ali said that the ministerial program for health departments is a pioneer in the issue of long-term community initiatives, especially with regard to community development, noting that society has some challenges in dealing with children, which requires searching for the most effective ways to confront these challenges.
